Dr. Obagi at Nordstrom - NASA, We have Issues...
Saturday Morning lift off:
I awoke on saturday morning after a gentle evening of sleep getting ready to go to Nordstrom with bff stacie to receive our FREE one-on-one consultation with Dr. Obagi himself. She was to pick me up at 9:45 for our 10:30 arrival in Topanga Canyon at the new Nordstrom. At 9:22am I received the text "On my way for our bff shopping day! Xo." I jumped out of bed and took a quick shower, threw on a floor length tie died dress and we were off to the races. When I came downstairs for the pickup, there she was, with bells (she accessorized with a pretty green necklace!)
We arrived before the doors to Nordstrom opened. Needless to say, we had great, shaded parking.
We eventually got in and looked at all the oooos and ahhhhs that Nordies has to offer. $800 handbags and $400 blouses. Surely a sign that we don't make enough money... though I don't think you ever do...
The Doctor Himself:
Dr. Obagi sat with bff stacie for about 20 minutes. He was very caring and explained what was going on with her skin. When I slid into the chair, he took all of 3 minutes and 24 seconds to tell me my skin is fine and 'come in and get a blue peel for those wrinkles.' I was almost bitter that I didn't have more problems with my skin so that I could take full advantage of this FREE one on one consultation with the Dr. - but bff stacie was bitter and happy with the consult.
The rest of the day:
Since I didn't have to spend hundreds on products, I wound up spending hundreds in bff's sister's department. We said it was all in the name of "Back to School" plus we don't have to buy diapers, formula and wipes.
